Parts of an Airplane

The next two weeks we will be reading "To Fly: The Story of the Wright Brothers". The Wright Brothers' airplane was very simple compare to airplanes today. However they still have the same parts (tail, body and wings.) Below are some photos of an airplane. This is a modern day airplane. Look at the pictures and see if you can guess which photo is the rudder, and the hangar. See if you can name the other pictures.

    The hanger was the big shed.The rudder was number three.

    Picture number one is the hangars.Picture number two is the propellor.the third picture is the rudder.picture # 5 is the glider,and pic. # 4 is the tail of the old airplane
