Science Mystery... and I Need YOUR Help!




Above are pictures of a rock, mineral, wood-like object I found. I need you to help me figure out what it is. I found it in my backyard, and it is the coolest thing. I however, know nothing about it to tell anyone about my cool object Please observe the pictures, and help me solve this mystery..

  1. I think this is a photo of a tree that grows gems in side. I think it is probably a 1,000,000,000 years old. You found it in some desart. You hade some one take it there.

  4. It is a the bottom part of a tree. At least 20 years old. Probably a storm or somthing like that.You found it at the beach.

    I think it is a part of the bottom of a tree. I think it is 29 years old. I think it got that way,because of the sun. I think it got there by the tyde of the ocean.

  8. I think it looks like a rock with wood around it and oil poured all over it!I think it is about 250 years i think somebody poured oil all over it! It didn't get in your backyard!

    i think they are 150 years old and 200 years old.

    HOW i think they got this way is they lived a long life.

    How i think they got in yor backyard is the wind might have belone

  13. 1.I believe it's a log i'm pretty sure,and it's 57yrs.old.2.Because of erosion it's like rubbed against another one that's why it's the way it is.It got in your backyard because you cut it down.

  16. I thick that it is a tree with rock on it and the other one is Inuaes.I think it over 500 years old. It could be a vocanlo that done this. I think it got there by nature.

  17. I think it is a big rock that looks like a tree. I think this because it is around a lot of other rocks . It looks like 250 years old because there are a lot of cracks in it . I think it got there by somebody brought it there bcause it looks like it is in the wrong place .

I think the first one is a tree stump because when you click on the picture it will let you see the whole thing.I think the second one is a piece of wood because it lookes like a piece of wood.I think the first one is 200 years old.I think the second one is 100 years old.I think the 1st one got like it did because it was so old.The 2nd one got that way because it sat in the dirt a long time.I think it got to your back yard by nature.
